Midland Lutheran College For more than 120 years, Midland Lutheran College has been inspiring students to learn and lead with purpose.
Midland is a four-year liberal arts and sciences college affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Approximately 1,000 students choose from nearly 50 majors and pre-professional programs leading to bachelor or associate degrees. The Midland campus is a hub of activity beyond the student population. The facilities are often open to the public for art exhibitions in the Musbach Art Gallery, theatre and music productions in Kimmel Theatre and Clemmons Hall, astrological viewings in the Behlin Observatory and Lueninghoener Planetarium and athletic events throughout the city. Or, you can take a walk through the Heritage Arboretum. Midland is also host to conferences and conventions throughout the year, utilizing facilities such as the Event Center for Athletics and Conferencing. Metropolitan Community College Metropolitan Community College Established in 1974, Metropolitan Community College is a comprehensive, full-service public community college supported by the taxpayers of several counties including Dodge County. Its purpose is to provide high quality educational programs and services, primarily in career preparation and general education, to people of all ages and educational backgrounds. More than 46,000 students take classes every year at one of five satellite campuses. The Fremont Campus, located on East 23rd Street, boasts a variety of general courses leading to transfer credits and vocational programs in more than twenty-five areas of study.
