May Museum

Walking through the doors of this twenty-five room museum is like walking through a doorway to days gone by.

Originally constructed in 1874 by Theron Nye, this former home was purchased in the late 60s by the Louis E. May Trust and has been the official museum of Dodge County since 1970.

This home features uniquely carved woodwork, floors and mantles, accented by period furniture, clothing and other historical items.

Stop in and see the varying featured exhibits throughout the year.

The museum also features a beautiful green and lush flower and herb gardens where you may take a stroll or listen to a concert.

The museum is open from 1:30 p.m.- 4:30 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday, and on Sunday during May, June, July and December.
